processes, PLEXIGLAS® products can be almost completely recycled in a comparable material quality. In short: PLEXIGLAS® becomes PLEXIGLAS® again.
One of the key properties of brands from Röhm GmbH that carry the proTerra name is their high proportion of recycled material. Our PLEXIGLAS® proTerra product family is no exception: Produced in a resource-saving way, the sheet material consists of approx. 90 percent recycled acrylic glass and impresses with the proven brand quality of the original from Röhm. The environmentally friendly material is available as solid sheets, as well as multi-skin and corrugated sheets.

There is also no environmental impact from long transport distances, as every step of the process is conducted at our production sites in Germany – from manufacturing PLEXIGLAS® semi-finished products to recycling production offcuts and producing PLEXIGLAS® proTerra sheets using a special coextrusion process. The environmental advantages are obvious:

PLEXIGLAS® proTerra solid sheets
PLEXIGLAS® proTerra solid sheets consist of around 90 percent recycled PLEXIGLAS®. They offer all the proven properties of acrylic glass from PLEXIGLAS®. The resource-saving material is available as transparent or opaque sheets in a range of colours and thicknesses.
PLEXIGLAS® proTerra solid sheets
PLEXIGLAS® proTerra solid sheets are highly versatile. Their high-quality look, lightness and ease of processing make them an inspiring material, for example for exhibition booth and store fixtures, for goods displays and exhibitions, and for both commercial and private interior design.
Transparent and colorless PLEXIGLAS® proTerra
With light transmission of 92 percent, transparent-colorless PLEXIGLAS® proTerra offers the same extraordinary transparency and vibrancy as new PLEXIGLAS® XT. Stronger and lighter than comparable glass geometries, it is ideal for shop counters, displays, display cases, transparent protective screens and much more.
Black and white PLEXIGLAS® proTerra solid sheets
Black and white PLEXIGLAS® proTerra solid sheets come in a choice of gloss or matte surfaces on both sides. They are an elegant material for prestigious interior design.
Like new PLEXIGLAS® sheets, they are ideal for terrace roofs, carports, porches and conservatories, since they are impact modified and therefore hail-proof. They also protect against excess harmful UV radiation. At the same time, the material is extremely resistant to weathering and UV radiation, and comes with a 30-year guarantee against yellowing.
